Our controls use local storage to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics. Local storage is saved on your device rather than sent automatically with each page request like a cookie. The table also lists the optional analytics cookies created only after you accept.

Optional Google Analytics
If you accepted analytics before Google Analytics was configured, we ask for a fresh choice before starting it. An existing rejection remains honoured.
If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand page visits and limited actions such as finder use and retailer-link clicks. It helps us assess how the site is used. Google receives the analytics requests and the technical information needed to operate that service. Read Google’s privacy information.
The optional cookies above use the men’s psmm prefix and are restricted to men.plus-size.me. They are separate from analytics cookies on the women’s site. We do not use Google Signals or advertising personalisation, and GA4 Enhanced Measurement is switched off; our measurement focuses on page views and a small set of site actions.
We remove query strings and fragments from the page address and referrer values sent by the site’s analytics code, and use a generic title on search-result pages. Our custom events do not include raw search text, selected measurement values, email addresses, confirmation tokens or reader notes.
Use Cookie preferences to reject or withdraw analytics consent. This blocks further analytics sends and removes this site’s psmm_ga and psmm_ga_-prefixed cookies. It does not change the women’s site’s cookies. The local-storage preference remains until you change it or clear browser storage.
Necessary WordPress functions
WordPress can use necessary login-test, authentication and preference cookies when an authorised editor signs in to administer the site. These support the editor’s requested login and settings; their duration follows the WordPress login and preference settings. They are separate from optional visitor analytics.
You do not need to create a customer account or use a checkout to browse the finder, send a fit note or follow a retailer link. The site does not provide its own clothing checkout. Newsletter confirmation and unsubscribe links are separate from the analytics preference.
Retailer websites have their own choices
A retailer link takes you to another company’s website, where that company’s privacy and cookie notices apply. An affiliate network may also process the referral under its own notice.
